On September 1, 2014, the best players in the world - representing nine religions and beliefs - gave life in the city of Rome, Italy, to the first Interreligious Match for Peace. It was a historic event based on spirituality, brotherhood and sporting excellence, in the name of dialogue among people and world peace. The initiative was promoted by two organizations active in disseminating values through sports and promoting the social inclusion of children and teenagers: Pupi Foundation and Scholas Occurrentes. The event was organized by the Argentinean company SportMass.
